The purpose of learning languages is for conversation!
So these days, many students prefer to learn languages through drama or youtube rather than books.
언어 공부의 목적은 대화를 위한 것이죠!
그래서 요즘은 많은 학생들이 책보다는 드라마나 유튜브 등 자연스러운 대화를 속에서 언어를 배우는 것을 좋아해요.
However, you need the ability to read texts to get the effect.
하지만, 이러한 공부 방법도 효율을 얻기 위해서는 글자를 읽을 수 있어야 해요!
Therefore, let's start learning to read vowels!
Hanguel vowels are made with dots and lines to symbolize the sky, earth, and man.
To combine dot with line becomes one vowel.
그래서 모음 읽기부터 시작해요~! :)
한글의 모음은 하늘과 땅, 그리고 사람을 상징하는 점과 선으로 만들어졌어요.
이 점과 선이 합쳐져서 하나의 모음이 되어요!
For example, 'l + •=ㅏ' [a]
예로 들어, ㅣ와• 가 만나면 ㅏ[a]가 됩니다.
If there is '•' on the left 'l', it becomes 'ㅓ'[eo]
만약에 •이 왼쪽으로 온다면 ㅓ[eo]가 되겠죠?
Can you try this? What will it be to combine '•' with 'ㅡ' ?
In this case, it becomes 'ㅗ' [o]
because '•' is above 'ㅡ'
이것도 한번 해볼까요? •와 ㅡ가 만나면 어떻게 될까요?
이때는 •이 ㅡ 위로 올라와 ㅗ가 됩니다.
Lastly, can you try one more?
please, put '•' to below 'ㅡ'
So then it becomes to be like below! "ㅜ" [u]
마지막으로 하나만 더 해볼까요?
이번에는 •가 ㅡ 아래에 놓아보세요!
그럼 이런 모습이 되겠죠!
And if there are two dots, you can make vowels by the same method as above.
그리고 •이 두 개가 된다면, 위의 방식처럼 똑같이 이렇게 표현할 수 있어요!
We can pronounce like these..!
ㅏ [a]
ㅑ [ya]
ㅓ [eo]
ㅕ[yeo]
ㅗ [o]
ㅛ [yo]
ㅜ [u]
ㅠ [yu]
'ㅡ' and 'ㅣ' is also Korean vowel without '•'
"ㅡ"[eu], "l" [i]
이렇게 •이 없는 ㅡ, ㅣ도 한국어의 모음으로 쓰인답니다.
