"Yes" - 네
한국어로 "Yes"는 "네"라고 말해요. 네 [ne] 따라해볼까요?
In Korean, "Yes" is pronounced as "네" [ne]. Shall we give it a try and practice together?
그런데, 한국어에는 존댓말과 반말이 있어요.
존댓말로 대답할 때는 "네"[ne]
그리고 반말로 할 때는 "응"[eung]이라고 할 수 있어요.
In Korean, there are two speech levels: polite form and casual form.
When responding in the polite form, you would say "네" (ne).
And when responding in the casual form, you would say "응" (eung).
And just like in English, in Korean, we also have various expressions equivalent to "Yes."
Some common examples include:
"알겠어요" [algesseoyo]: I see / I got it.
"맞아요" [majayo]: That's right.
"네, 좋아요" [ne, johayo]: Yes, that's good.
"그래요" [geuraeyo]: Okay / That's right.

"No" - 아니요
한국말로 "No"는 "아니요"[a-ni-yo]라고 말해요. 반말로는 짧게 "아니"[a-ni]라고 해요. 그리고 한국인들이 실제로 대답할 때는 "으으응~"[eu-eu-eung]이라고 표현하기도 해요.
In Korean, "No" is expressed as "아니요" [a-ni-yo]. In casual speech, it can be shortened to "아니" [a-ni]. Additionally, when Koreans respond, they may also use an expression like "으으응~" [eu-eu-eung] to indicate a negative response.
Here are some variations of expressing "No" in Korean:
"아니" [a-ni] - casual
"아니에요" [a-ni-e-yo] - formal
"아닙니다" [a-nim-ni-da] - business
For expressing uncertainty or not knowing: "I don't know"
"몰라" [mo-la] - casual
"몰라요" [mo-la-yo] - formal
"모르겠습니다" [mo-reu-get-seum-ni-da] - business
